I picked the lesson plan topic I did because I think that state history is important to know. It is important to know about where you come from and learn interesting facts along the way. With the website that I found, they break down the data enough that it is easy to understand and follow. They also provide interactive graphs that students can follow and provide them a visual example on the population trend through years on growth within Wisconsin. I also thought that the website also provided a lot of useful information in regards to gender, age, and ethnicity demographics. Therefore, it can be used in more subject fields then just history; which I find very useful.
